Create a Database search from the Command Center

Ask the Command Center for a Database search in plain English, from anywhere in the app, and refine it in the same chat.

You can start a Database search without opening the Database tab. Open the Command Center and say what you are looking for. K3X creates the search and shows the results in the Database.

Steps

  1. Click the Command Center pill at the bottom of the screen, or press its shortcut.

  2. Type a request that starts with "create a database search" or "find", followed by your ideal customer. Example: Create a database search for roofing company owners in Georgia.

  3. K3X builds the search and opens it as a new tab in the Database.

  4. Refine in the same chat: "only companies with more than 10 employees" or "add Florida".

  5. Save it as a Smartview when it looks right, then start revealing.

The same box, two doors

The Database tab's + button (Create search with AI) opens a Describe search box inside the Command Center. Starting from the Command Center pill reaches the same place. Use whichever is closer to where you are.

What to include

  • Industry: roofing, dental, logistics, fintech.

  • Location: a state, a county, a metro.

  • Size: employees ("10 to 50 employees") or revenue ("over $1M").

  • Role: owners, CEOs, heads of sales.

  • Funding: "Series A", "recently funded".

Example: "Find Series A fintech companies in New York with 50 to 200 employees."

Searching your own records instead

If you want companies you already own, do not say "database". Ask "Show me my companies in Georgia with no reply this week" and the Command Center searches Companies and People. The word "database" is the signal for the 200M+ list.

After the search

  • Reveal rows to unmask verified emails and direct phones. Reveals spend Data Reveal credits from your pool.

  • Push revealed records into Companies and People.

  • Ask the Command Center to run an agent on what you pushed: "Run the follow-up agent on everyone I added today."

Credits

Creating and refining a search spends a small amount of AI credits like any Command Center request. Viewing results is free. Only Reveal spends Data Reveal credits.

From Claude or ChatGPT

Connected through Settings → Authorized Apps, Claude and ChatGPT accept the same request and the results appear in your Database.
