A good goal names the outcome, the scope, the stop condition and the hard rules. Below are eight you can paste into the Create Agent bar or an existing agent's Goal field. Swap the stage names, field names, numbers and owner names for yours.
Trigger: New Company. Cadence: Continuous.
For every new company, send a short personal email within 10 minutes introducing yourself and asking for a 15-minute call, with the booking link. Wait 2 days. If no reply, send one SMS asking if the email arrived. Wait 3 days. If still no reply, send a final email and move the deal to "Went Cold". Stop as soon as they reply, click or book. Maximum three touches. Never contact companies that already have a deal in a won stage.
Trigger: New Company.
Only act on companies whose Source field is "Website form". Research the company on the web, fill Industry and Employees, and set "Fit Score" from 1 to 5: 5 for US companies in financial services with 10 to 200 employees, 1 for anything outside the US or with no website. If the score is 4 or 5, create a deal in "New Lead" and assign the owner with the fewest open deals. Leave a note explaining the score in two sentences.
Trigger: New Company.
Skip any company that already has an owner. Assign companies in Georgia, Florida and Alabama to Sam; Texas and Oklahoma to Priya; everything else round robin between Sam and Priya. Set the "Territory" field to match. Do not send any messages.
Trigger: Webhook.
When a booking arrives, find the company by the email domain in invitee_email or create it with the domain as website. Create or update the person from invitee_name and invitee_email. Create a deal named "Demo: company name" in stage "Demo Booked" with event_start_time in the Close Date field and the answers from questions_and_answers in Booking Notes. Assign the deal to the host in event_host. If the same person books twice, update the existing deal instead of creating a new one.
Trigger: a logged call on the record.
After every call longer than 60 seconds, read the call notes and transcript if available. Write a 3-line summary as a note on the company: what they need, objections, agreed next step. Set the deal's "Demo Summary" field to the summary and create a task for the owner with the agreed next step and date. If the person asked not to be contacted, move the deal to "Trial Canceled" and add the note.
Trigger: Deal Updated. Cadence: Continuous.
Only act when a deal moves into "Went Cold". Wait 30 days. Send a short email referencing the last conversation and offering one new reason to talk. Wait 5 days, send one SMS. Wait 7 days, send a final email with the booking link. Stop as soon as they reply or book, and move the deal back to "New Lead" when they do. Never contact the same company more than once per quarter.
Trigger: New Company.
For every new company with a website, research it on the web and fill Industry, Employees, Region and Annual Revenue. Do not overwrite fields that already have a value. If you cannot find the company, leave a note saying so. Do not send any messages.
Trigger: Deal Updated.
Only act when a deal is created or updated with an amount above 25000. Assign it to Alex, create a task "Review high-value deal" due today, and send a webhook to https://hook.example.com/slack with the company name, amount, stage and owner. Do this once per deal.
One outcome per agent. Two agents are easier to debug than one that does everything.
Write the "do nothing" case. Agents behave best when told what not to do.
Test on one record with Enroll Agent before running on a list.
