A quick tour of the four main tabs

A 90-second orientation to where things live in K3X.

You'll spend most of your K3X day across four tabs in the left nav, plus one always-on assistant.

Leads.

Every prospect you're working. Opens to a table view driven by Smart Views — saved filter + column sets you switch between like browser tabs. Click any lead to open its profile: a 3-panel view with files on the left, an activity feed in the middle, and the side panels (contacts, deals, owners, custom fields) on the right.

Contacts.

People — the humans behind your leads. Each contact can have multiple emails, phone numbers, and websites. One contact can belong to multiple leads, which is useful for referral partners or anyone who introduces you to more than one deal. Most of the time you'll add and link contacts from inside a lead; the Contacts tab gives you a top-down view when you need it.

Pipeline.

Your deals as a kanban. Six default stages — drag a deal from one to the next as it moves. Every deal belongs to a lead, and you create deals from inside a lead (right panel), not from the kanban itself. The kanban is for moving and watching; the lead is where deals are born.

Agents.

Your AI workers. Each agent has a goal, a whitelist of tools it can use, and triggers that wake it up — when a new lead comes in, when a deal hasn't moved in 7 days, when an email arrives, on a schedule, or when an external system POSTs to its webhook URL.

You build agents from /agents/new using a chat builder that asks one clarifying question at a time. Agents draft email and SMS by default — you approve before they send.

AI Chat — the always-on panel.

Not a tab; a panel that opens from a button in the app shell. Use it to search ("show me all leads from last week with no reply"), to draft ("draft a follow-up to the lead I'm on"), to schedule a meeting, to update a deal, to propose a Smart View — all in plain language. Every write action shows you a confirmation card before anything actually changes.

The mental model: Chat drafts. Agents are where direct send lives.

A few orientation notes:

  • Settings lives behind your avatar in the top right, not in the main nav.

  • Switching organizations happens from the same avatar menu, if you belong to more than one.

  • The four main tabs respect your role. If you're a Sales Rep with "assigned only" scope, you'll see only your records, not the whole team's.

  • Analytics is a separate, permission-gated tab. It's intentionally minimal in K3X — counters, not dashboards. If you don't see it, your role doesn't have analytics access.

That's the orientation. From here, the next thing to do is import your existing leads (or create your first one) and let the app do its thing.

Welcome to K3X.
