The Pipelines tab shows your deals as a board, one column per stage. Every deal belongs to a company; you create it on the company record and move it on the board.
Stages
Stages are set per workspace and can be edited to match how your team sells. Each stage has a kind:
Active: work in progress, for example New Lead, Demo Booked, Trial Started.
Won: the deal closed in your favor, for example Plan Upgraded.
Lost: the deal ended without a sale, for example Went Cold or Plan Canceled.
You can have more than one won or lost stage, which lets you separate "canceled during trial" from "canceled after a year" without a custom field. Keep stage names tied to things you can verify happened ("Demo Booked" beats "Feeling good").
The board
Each column header shows the total deal value and the number of deals in that stage. Cards show the deal name, owner avatar, people, company, amount, a stage chip and a preview of the latest note. Use Created to change the sort order and Pipeline Stage to change the grouping.
Create a deal
Open the company record.
In the right panel under PIPELINE, click + Add Deal.
Give it a name, an amount and a stage.
Add deal custom fields with Add Field if you track things like Close Date or Recurrency.
A company can hold several deals at once, for example a new order and a renewal, each in its own stage.
Move a deal
Drag the card to the new column on the board, or change the stage on the company record. Stage changes are recorded on the timeline as system events. You can also tell Claude or ChatGPT: "Move the Acme deal to Trial Started".
Let agents move deals for you
Agents can trigger on Deal Updated and other events, and their steps can create deals and change stages in plain English, for example "Create deal 'Demo Booked' on Acme Inc in stage 'Demo Booked'". The Pipeline Movement template flags stalled deals and updates stages; High-Value Deal Alert escalates deals created above a value you choose. Calls logged to the timeline can act as a signal too, so a completed call can move a deal forward.
Won and lost
Moving a deal to a won or lost stage closes it. The company, its people and the whole timeline stay intact, so you can reopen the conversation later or start a new deal on the same company.
Deal fields
Standard: name, amount, stage.
Custom: anything you define in Settings → Custom Fields under Deal, such as Close Date, Recurrency, Demo Status or Booking Notes.
