Create or join a workspace

Start your own K3X workspace or accept an invitation, then switch between workspaces from your avatar.

Right after sign-up, K3X asks whether you are starting your own workspace or joining one you were invited to.

If you were invited

When you sign up with the email a teammate invited, your pending invitations appear on this screen automatically. Click the invitation. You join that workspace with the role the inviter picked, and you move straight to the profile step.

If you are starting fresh

  1. Choose Set up your company.

  2. Enter your organization name: what your team calls itself.

  3. Add your website (optional). K3X prefixes https:// for you.

  4. Pick your timezone. Dates and times across the workspace render in it. You can change it later in Settings → Company.

  5. Submit. K3X builds the workspace in the background.

You become the Owner. Four roles are ready to assign: Owner, Administrator, Sales Manager and Sales Representative. Your pipeline comes with default stages that you can rename, reorder or add to later in Pipelines. AI Behavior gets sensible defaults you can tune in Settings → AI Behavior.

Switch between workspaces

The same email can belong to any number of K3X workspaces.

  1. Click your avatar in the top right.

  2. Under Switch workspace, you see every workspace you belong to, with your role listed under each one (Owner, Administrator, Sales Manager or Sales Representative).

  3. Click the one you want.

Things to know

  • Joining does not merge with creating. If you create your own workspace and later accept an invitation to a teammate's, those are two separate memberships with separate data.

  • The Owner role is locked. Owners cannot be demoted or removed by anyone else, including Administrators. To transfer ownership, email [email protected].

  • Your profile is per user, not per workspace. Your name and sign-in are the same everywhere; your role can differ by workspace.
