The K3X connector lets Claude read and update your K3X workspace on your behalf. Connect once, approve the permissions, then ask Claude things like "Who are my hottest companies this week?" or "Move the Acme deal to Trial Started." You stay signed in to K3X; Claude does the typing.

K3X ships an MCP server. The connector is how Claude talks to it. Every action runs as you, within your K3X role and the scopes you approve. Claude receives only the records needed for your request, not a copy of your database, and K3X does not store your Claude conversations.
A K3X account with access to at least one workspace.
A Claude plan that supports connectors. If you do not see Connectors in Claude's settings, check Claude's own help for your plan.
On Claude Team or Enterprise, an admin may need to approve the connector first.
In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors.
Find K3X and click Connect. If K3X is not listed, add it as a custom connector using the connector details shown in K3X under Settings → Authorized Apps.
Sign in with your K3X account and pick the workspace Claude should use.
Review the scopes and approve: Read records, Create and edit records, Read deals, Create and edit deals, Read emails calls and meetings, Read AI agents, Create and edit AI agents. Untick anything you do not want Claude to do.
Start a new chat, make sure the K3X connector is enabled for that chat, and ask something.

Claude will often ask a clarifying question before a write, for example which of two matching companies you meant. For bulk changes it batches the work and tells you what it did.
Open Settings → Authorized Apps. Your Claude connection is listed with the scopes you granted and the connected date. Owners and Administrators also see Other members' connections, so an admin can audit who has connected which assistant.
Two places, either works:
In K3X, Settings → Authorized Apps, click Revoke next to the Claude connection. The token stops working immediately.
In Claude, Settings → Connectors, remove K3X.
To switch workspaces, revoke and connect again, choosing the other workspace.
Under the hood the K3X API calls companies leads and people contacts. If Claude mentions a tool such as search_leads or create_contact, it means the records in your Companies and People tabs.
OAuth 2.0. K3X never shares your password with Anthropic.
Data flows only when you ask. There is no background sync.
Every write is logged on the record timeline with you as the actor.
K3X is SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliant, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and customer data is not used to train third-party models.
