AI Chat: everything you can ask your CRM

Searching, drafting, updating records, and scheduling by talking to K3X — with the approval model explained.

AI Chat is the always-on assistant in the app shell — not a tab, a panel that's one keystroke away. It knows where things live, so asking is usually faster than clicking.

Search and questions

  • "Show me all leads from last week with no reply."

  • "Find every call where someone mentioned Salesforce."

  • "Which leads mentioned a competitor in their discovery call?" (searches across your call transcripts)

  • "What happened with Acme while I was out?"

Drafting and outreach

  • "Draft a follow-up to the lead I'm on." — Chat writes it; you edit and send.

  • "Text Brian asking if 3pm still works." — Chat shows a confirmation card with the recipient, from-number, and draft; nothing sends until you approve.

  • "Call Brian Chen." — the dialer opens pre-filled; Chat never auto-dials.

Updating your CRM

  • "Move the Acme deal to Proposal."

  • "Create a task to send pricing by Friday."

  • "Add 'budget confirmed' to the notes on this lead."

  • "Create a smart view of leads with no touch in 14 days."

Every write action shows a confirmation card before anything changes. That's the core promise: Chat drafts and proposes; you approve. Direct sending without approval only exists in agents where you've explicitly enabled autosend.

Good prompt habits

  • Name the lead or say "the lead I'm on" — context helps.

  • Batch related asks: "Summarize this lead, then draft a check-in email referencing the last call."

  • If a draft misses the tone, say how: "shorter, more casual, no exclamation marks."

AI Chat conversations use AI credits from your monthly pool — see "How credits work in K3X."
