Everything in K3X hangs off a lead. Calls, emails, meetings, files, deals, and custom fields all live on the lead's profile, so the full story of every prospect is in one place.
Leads vs contacts
A lead is the opportunity you're working — usually a company or a deal-in-motion.
A contact is a person. Each contact can have multiple emails, phone numbers, and websites, and one contact can belong to multiple leads — handy for referral partners or anyone who introduces you to more than one deal.
Most of the time you'll add and link contacts from inside a lead. The Contacts tab gives you the top-down view when you need it.
Creating and importing
Create a lead directly from the Leads tab, ask AI Chat ("create a lead for Acme, contact Jane, [email protected]"), let an agent create leads automatically from form fills and webhooks, or import in bulk — see "Import your data and migrate from another CRM."
The lead profile
Open any lead for the 3-panel view: files on the left, the chronological activity feed in the middle (every email, call, SMS, meeting, and note), and the side panels on the right — contacts, deals, owners, and custom fields.
Smart Views
The Leads tab is driven by Smart Views — saved filter and column sets you switch between like browser tabs. Typical views teams set up first:
My open leads (owner = me, status = active)
No touch in 14 days (last activity older than 2 weeks)
New this week
You can also ask AI Chat to propose a view in plain language ("show me all leads from last week with no reply") and save the result.
Custom fields
Add custom fields for anything your team tracks — deal source, region, product line. Custom fields are unlimited, filterable in smart views, and mappable during CSV import.
Owners and visibility
Every lead has an owner. What teammates can see depends on their role's record scope — "all records" or "assigned only." See "Roles and permissions" for details.
