Every K3X plan includes a monthly pool of credits shared across your whole team. Credits are how usage-based features — AI, SMS, and calling — are measured, and each credit is worth one cent ($0.01) whenever usage is billed beyond your included pool. Seats, records, pipelines, and webhooks are unlimited and never consume credits.
The plan includes 2,000 credits total each month, shared across your entire team:
1,600 AI credits — AI Chat, AI Agent runs, and AI processing on your leads
200 SMS credits — text messages
200 Call credits — call minutes and call transcription
Included credits refresh at the start of each billing month. Free trials start with a smaller bucket — 200 AI / 100 SMS / 100 call credits — and can't go into overage: when a trial category runs out, that feature pauses until you upgrade.
Outbound SMS: about 0.8 credits per message
Inbound SMS: about 0.8 credits per message — replies you receive count too
Outbound calls: 1.5 credits per minute, rounded up to the next whole minute
Inbound calls: 0.85 credits per minute, rounded up to the next whole minute
Call transcription: 2 credits per minute of recorded audio, drawn from Call credits
AI Chat and Agent runs: based on how much AI work your request needs. A short AI Chat question is roughly 1–2 credits; a complex agent run that reads transcripts and drafts emails costs more. Every run is itemized in your usage history.
Storing leads is unlimited and free — but K3X is an AI-native CRM, and every new lead is processed by AI as it enters your workspace (building the working context your agents and AI Chat rely on). That processing draws a small amount from your AI credits per lead, scaled to how much data the lead carries. Leads that agents then work — qualifying, following up, updating records — use additional AI credits per run.
So if you're adding meaningful lead volume (say, 10+ leads a day), expect AI usage to scale with it: the per-lead processing plus each agent run those leads trigger. Your usage history in Settings → Billing itemizes every run so you can see the real per-lead cost for your setup.
Bulk imports have no per-row import fee, and exports are always free. Three things around imports do use AI credits: each imported lead goes through the same automatic AI processing as any new lead (so large imports draw AI credits proportionally), the AI column mapper that matches your file's columns to fields needs available AI credits (with an empty balance the import still works — columns are left for manual mapping), and any agents that trigger on newly created leads bill per run. Importing a large list right at the end of a billing period, when your pool is nearly spent, is the classic way to get surprised — check your balance first.
Team seats, storing and editing leads, contacts and deals, custom fields, tasks, notes, smart views, CSV exports, webhooks, and email sent through your connected Gmail or Outlook mailbox.
Phone numbers: $1.15/month per number, plus a one-time $1.15 setup fee when you buy it
A2P 10DLC registration: one-time carrier registration fees — $4.50 (brand) plus $15 (campaign vetting); standard-volume registrations include an additional $41.50 vetting fee
On an active paid plan, going past the included pool just works — extra usage is billed at $0.01 per credit on your invoice. For example, 1,000 extra AI credits adds $10. Overage isn't available on trials, while a payment has failed, or after you've scheduled a cancellation (your included credits still work in that last case).
"My SMS credits drain faster than what I send." Inbound messages bill too — an active two-way conversation uses roughly 1.6 credits per exchange, not 0.8.
"Call credits disappear even on short calls." Two causes: calls round up to the next whole minute (a 20-second call bills as 1 minute), and transcription adds 2 credits per recorded minute on top of the call itself. An 8-minute recorded, transcribed call costs about 28 call credits total.
"AI credits dropped overnight." Agents with schedule or webhook triggers run while you're away, and every new lead that arrives is AI-processed on entry. Check the itemized run history and tighten triggers on any agent firing more often than intended.
"Everything AI just stopped working" (trial). Trial buckets are hard-capped. When a category hits zero it pauses — nothing is broken. Upgrading unlocks the full pool immediately.
"Features stopped working" (paid plan). Usually one of two things: a failed payment (usage pauses until the card is fixed — Settings → Billing → Manage plan) or a scheduled cancellation, which turns off overage while keeping included credits active until the period ends.
Turn transcription off on numbers that don't need it (Settings → Phone Numbers → [number] → Transcription) — it's the most common silent drain on Call credits.
Review agent triggers monthly; "on schedule" agents are the usual source of surprise AI usage.
Batch big imports early in your billing month, not at the end of it.
Watch Settings → Billing — per-category usage against included amounts, plus a full itemized history of every AI run, message, and call.
