You can sign up for K3X three ways:
Email and password. Enter your email and a password (minimum 8 characters — there's a strength meter to help). After you submit, K3X sends a verification email. You won't be able to enter the app until you click the link in that email.
Google. "Continue with Google" runs through Google's standard sign-in flow. K3X reads your name, email, and avatar. Google accounts count as pre-verified — no extra email step.
Microsoft. Same shape as Google, using Microsoft 365. Also pre-verified.
A few notes:
Verification is required for email/password sign-ups before the app loads any data. If your verification email doesn't arrive in a couple of minutes, check spam first; otherwise hit Resend on the verification screen.
OAuth and password accounts don't merge. If you sign up with Google and later try to sign in with the same email and a password, you're creating a separate account.
Same email, multiple K3X organizations is fine. If a teammate invites you to a new org later, you don't sign up again — you just accept the invite from the email link.
Forgot your password? Use "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen. The reset email comes from our auth provider (Firebase), so the sender is
noreply@…rather than k3x.ai.
After you sign up, K3X drops you straight into onboarding. Onboarding has three quick steps before you reach the app — company, profile, and billing. The next three articles cover each one.
